Services

The Palestinian Association for Visually Impaired Persons offers a variety of services aimed at different groups. These services are primarily targeted towards visually impaired persons,  as well as their families, institutions, officials, and NGOs. Additionally, the Association caters to public and private vehicle drivers, bus drivers, employers, educators, municipal council members, employees, and other social groups.

The Association's most important services include:

1. Support and legal guidance.
2. Family and social counseling.
3. Home modifications.
4. Methods of communication and dealing with visually impaired persons.
5. Harmonized services in public facilities.
6. Motor guidance, and independent daily life skills.
7. Enlarged, audible, and audio-recorded accessible books.
8. Educational guidance for students, teachers, and school principals.
9. Vocational guidance and guidance.
10. Training and skills development in different fields, such as :  creative writing, use of modern software... etc.
